These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Storied Travel (“Storied Travel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client and/or traveler (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

These Terms & Conditions are incorporated into and form part of any travel planning, proposal, itinerary, invoice, or booking confirmation issued by Storied Travel.

By engaging Storied Travel to design, arrange, or book travel services, or by submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Role of Storied Travel

Storied Travel acts solely as a travel design firm and intermediary for third-party suppliers, including but not limited to hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, transportation providers, and other service providers (“Suppliers”).

Storied Travel does not own, operate, or control any Supplier and is not the provider of travel services. All travel services are provided by independent Suppliers, each of which has its own terms and conditions. By confirming your itinerary, you agree to be bound by all applicable Supplier terms.

2. Use of Services & Client Responsibility

You confirm that:

•       You are at least 18 years of age

•       You have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement

•       All information you provide is accurate and complete

•       You are financially responsible for all bookings made

You agree not to make speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings.

3. SMS Communications

Storied Travel may send you SMS messages for the following purposes:

•       Travel consultation reminders and scheduling confirmations

•       Itinerary updates, booking confirmations, and travel alerts

•       Promotional offers, curated destination ideas, and newsletter content

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our website’s opt-in form, you agree to receive SMS notifications and promotional messages from Storied Travel. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any SMS message. To request assistance, reply HELP. For support, contact us at [email protected] or (800) 566-7574.

Carrier Disclaimer: Storied Travel and its travel advisors are not liable for any delays or failures in SMS message delivery caused by carriers or network providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age Restriction: By opting in to receive SMS messages from Storied Travel, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Our SMS program is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

4. Pricing Structure

All pricing presented by Storied Travel reflects the total cost of the travel experience as designed and arranged.

Due to contractual agreements with Suppliers, individual supplier pricing and line-item cost breakdowns are not disclosed.

Pricing may include planning, design, supplier coordination, and concierge services.

5. Payments, Authorization & Chargebacks

By submitting payment to Storied Travel, you authorize Storied Travel to process payments to Suppliers on your behalf.

•       All payments are subject to Supplier terms and conditions

•       Final payment deadlines will be outlined in your proposal or invoice

•       Failure to make payments may result in cancellation and loss of funds

All payments are considered authorized, valid, and non-fraudulent.

You agree not to initiate any chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal with your bank or credit card provider for any reason other than verified fraud. This includes, but is not limited to:

•       Dissatisfaction with travel services provided by third-party Suppliers

•       Changes, delays, or cancellations outside of Storied Travel’s control

•       Personal decisions to cancel or modify travel

•       Misunderstanding of Supplier policies or travel requirements

In the event of a chargeback or dispute initiated in violation of this Agreement, Storied Travel reserves the right to recover all amounts owed, charge additional administrative fees, and recover any associated costs, including legal fees and collection expenses. You agree to be fully responsible for any such costs.

6. Cancellations & Changes

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation penalties may include:

•       Supplier-imposed penalties

•       Non-refundable deposits

•       Full loss of funds depending on timing

Changes to confirmed bookings are not guaranteed and may incur additional fees. No refunds will be provided for unused services.

7. Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

You are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, required travel documentation, and health and vaccination requirements. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding, denied entry, or travel disruption. Storied Travel is not responsible for such outcomes.

8. Health & Fitness to Travel

You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically and physically fit to travel. Storied Travel does not provide medical advice and is not responsible for any medical conditions, treatment, or outcomes during travel.

9. Air Travel & Schedule Changes

Airlines control all flight schedules and changes. Storied Travel is not responsible for flight delays or cancellations, schedule changes, seat assignments, or airline policies. Failure to use any portion of a ticket may result in cancellation of remaining segments.

10. Force Majeure

Storied Travel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

•       Acts of God

•       War, terrorism, or civil unrest

•       Government actions or restrictions

•       Pandemics or epidemics

•       Natural disasters

•       Labor disruptions

Suppliers may alter, postpone, or cancel travel services at their discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storied Travel shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, or death; property damage or loss; delays, interruptions, or travel disruptions; or acts, errors, or omissions of Suppliers. Storied Travel’s liability, if any, is limited to the amount of fees actually received by Storied Travel.

12. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, delays, and unpredictable conditions. By participating in travel arranged by Storied Travel, you voluntarily assume all such risks and release Storied Travel from liability.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Storied Travel, its advisors, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your travel participation, your actions or omissions, Supplier-related issues, or your decision to decline travel protection.

14. Travel Protection

Storied Travel strongly recommends the purchase of travel protection. Travel protection may cover trip cancellation or interruption, medical emergencies and evacuation, and travel delays and lost baggage.

Travel protection is not included unless explicitly stated. If you decline travel protection, you assume full responsibility for any losses, expenses, or disruptions that may occur. You may be required to sign a separate Travel Protection Acknowledgment Form. Storied Travel is not an insurance provider and does not guarantee coverage or claim approval.

15. Data Privacy

Storied Travel may collect and store personal information necessary to plan and manage your travel. While reasonable safeguards are used, Storied Travel is not liable for unauthorized access due to circumstances beyond its control. 16. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Massachusetts.

17. Electronic Acceptance

Electronic acceptance, including payment authorization, constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions and is legally binding.

18. FIT (Custom Travel) Terms

For custom-designed travel:

•       Planning and design fees are non-refundable

•       Itineraries are tailored and subject to revision limitations

•       Pricing is subject to change until confirmed

•       Client approval is required prior to booking

Delays in approval may result in changes in pricing or availability.

19. Group Travel Terms

For group trips and hosted departures:

•       Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

•       Final payment deadlines are strictly enforced

•       Pricing is based on minimum participation and may change

•       Roommate matching is not guaranteed

Storied Travel reserves the right to modify itineraries, substitute accommodations, or remove disruptive participants without refund. No refunds will be issued for unused services.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Storied Travel and supersede all prior communications.
